Local Insider Tips

  • Ball’s Falls: Arrive early Saturday or Sunday. Parking tightens fast by midday. Bring layers for the escarpment.

  • Falls fireworks: Skip the midday tour-bus crush. Aim for Table Rock around 6 p.m. for golden-hour light, stay for illumination and the 10 p.m. show. Parking eases once day trippers leave.

  • Rapidsview lot (Lot C) is $10 for the day with WEGO Green Line to Table Rock in 7–8 minutes. Seasonal; confirm with Niagara Parks.

  • Farmers market: Get there close to 7 a.m. for the best fall produce before it disappears.

  • Boo at the Zoo: Costume deal for kids under 12 is the clear value play. Confirm hours before you drive to Stevensville.
